“Our players have seen major improvements in many areas including edges, power and balance.  We will definitely be using Wave in the Future again for both our current players and prospects.”

“Our team has participated in the HP power skating program directed by Jarret Reid for the past 5 seasons. Jarret and his instructors have been instrumental in developing our players skating ability during this time. His in-depth technical knowledge, attention to detail, and constructive, supportive instructional approach with the players differentiates the HP program from other alternatives. Jarret and his instructors are fully invested in the improvement of their students and the results of the training approach are evident."

“The gang at HP Power Skating have been instrumental in the development of all the teams that I have coached.  Their focus on player development and the time they take to ensure the kids are learning the right technique is what makes them stand out from the pack.  You can tell that Jarret and his team love what they do which is why I keep bringing my players back year after year.”

Aaron Brooks
Head Coach

Burlington/Halton Rep Hockey

“Jarret was the first formal skating instructor that my son Shane used with any regularity to help shape his technique as a hockey player.  Jarret to this day has always been able to easily offer Shane technical instruction with continuous feedback for improvement while being sure he had fun at the same time.”

Simon Wright

“My son and his friends have been taking semi-private lessons and attend weekly power skating sessions off and on for the past 4 years with Jarret Reid.  Jarret’s demeanor, coaching skills and true passion for the boys is what keeps us coming back.  He places a heavy emphasis on proper skating techniques, and his drills are designed to help the boys apply those techniques in game-like situations.  They have become better skaters and all-around hockey players as a result.  As a parent, I trust Jarret with the boys and they are always excited when we tell them they will be skating with Coach Reid.  They come off the ice with big smiles on their faces.”

Paul Moreira

"Since working with Jarret and the HP team I have noticed a huge improvement in foot speed, balance and stride length. His approach to skating and attention to detail separates him from the pack. I am more confident in my overall skating ability and strongly believe this program has prepared me for the NHL."
